Thank you for considering to adopt an animal in need of a forever home. Each year, we care for tens of thousands of homeless animals. We are grateful to compassionate individuals like you who provide loving homes – and a second chance – for these amazing animals.
Please Note:
During the COVID-19 pandemic, our adoption process is being offered through online applications and in-person shelter visits by appointment. Local adoptions will be prioritized at each location following provincial COVID-19 travel guidelines.

Adoption Procedures
Please Note:
- Animals cannot be reserved over the telephone or via email
- PPHM Melaka reserves the right to approve or reject an adoption request based on our discretion
- PPHM Melaka may need to check the premises of the potential adopter prior to approving an adoption request
- Adoption of an animal under PPHM’s care will not be approved for individuals below the age of 18, or students who are not residing with their parents
